Powdered graphite and acrylic on paper, 2006. Sold as part of a legal defense fundraising effort in support of the West Memphis Three.
Came the day I was an Emergency Sculpture Correspondent in Chris Yates’ lovely comic.

In 2010, I was lucky enough to be part of Deborah Boardman’s exhibition/performance, A Porous Space.
Deborah brought me on to interpret her Faults song into American Sign Language (ASL), which was a massive challenge.

In May 2015, I accompanied a group of my students on a study-abroad trip to Italy. The sketches below are the result of that trip.

On 9/19/2015, I performed (with two other distinguished painting alumni) at the School of the Art Institute’s 150th Anniversary block party in downtown Chicago, IL.
The end result of four hours of live painting was a piece I called The Age of Desire (All of This Could Have Been Yours).

For your listening pleasure, here is the song I played on repeat while performing.
